Candidates must have 5+ years of direct experience with designing and developing distributed OO applications using:
Java, Jini and RMI
Design Patterns (especially those that apply to collaborative applications, delegates, and Model-View-Controller design).
Web application development, particularly utilizing Web Services., general familiarity with peer-to-peer environments.
The individuals should have experience with Struts as well as portal/portlet development.
The developer should be familiar and have experience with portlet specifications and best practices such as JSR-168 (http://www.jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=168) and WSRP (Web Services for Remote Portlets).
Portlets will be implemented using PlumTree's EDK (Enterprise Development Kit) so experience with the EDK is a definite plus.
Developer should have experience with a mainstream portal server, preferably PlumTree.
